Christopher Hall is the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Managing Director for Global Cybersecurity Strategy and Innovation at the Bank of New York Mellon. In this role, Christopher is responsible for overseeing the governance and strategy of the Cybersecurity Service Program, which is based on a comprehensive set of international standards that qualifies and quantifies security services into 23 control families utilizing a risk reduction framework that ensures core and significant assets are appropriately protected.
Mr. Hall has a MBA in Technology Management and a Master of Science in Information Assurance from Norwich University. He holds multiple active certifications to include Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and he is a credentialed Project Management Professional (PMP) with 25 years of management and leadership experience. He has a proven track record of innovation and the ability to influence senior decision makers to efficiently implement next-generation cyber security controls and processes that enable the business to leverage emerging technologies that create new revenue streams and reduce costs.
Mr Hall has been a featured speaker at several industry organizations to include Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Securing Our eCity, and the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) on a wide-range of Information Assurance programs and initiatives. He is a subject matter expert in Key Management, Crypto, Computer Network Defense, as well as, Cybersecurity program development and implementation.
